What materials are Puzzletex bags, reusable masks and accessories made of? How do we maintain them?

In today’s article we will tell you about the materials with which we make Puzzletex bags, reusable masks and accessories. We will also give you some advice on how to take care of the products you buy from us.

100% cotton bags.

Our most popular product line is a cloth bags. Atelierul de Pânza, the protected unit of ViitorPlus, was born in 2009 from the desire to bring a change for the better in our society. With the thought of reducing the amount of plastic, we have created a line of products that are practical and useful at the same time. This is how cotton bags appeared! Made by 100% cotton fabric (unbleached, undyed and untreated)these products promote a sustainable lifestyle. How to take care of our cotton bags?

Very simple! The bags can be washed by hand or in the washing machine at 30 degrees (delicate wash programme). We recommend not using bleach if you choose to wash them in the washing machine! It is important to note that the fabric is untreated which means that 1-2cm of water will enter after the first wash. Also, do not dry the bags using the dryer. Once washed and dried, the 100% cotton reusable bags can be ironed at the temperature indicated for cotton.

As for the graphics of the envelopes, this is printed on the products via thermal transfer or screen printing. Both types of print perform well in the wash, as long as you take care of the products and clean them according to our recommendations.

Reusable masks made of cotton fabric

Since last year, due to the pandemic context and the lack of surgical masks, we have introduced the line of reusable masks at your request. If you want to know more details, click here and read the article where I told more about how these products appeared.

The masks we work with are made of DOC fabric (composition: 90% cotton and 10% polyester) or tercot fabric (composition: 70% cotton and 30% polyester). We chose to use these types of treated fabrics because it is important that the masks do not enter the water (a risk that would have occurred with untreated fabric, which means that the products would have entered the water for approximately 1-2 cm after the first wash).

Puzzletex is our range of special products. We say this because the most important feature of the products in this range is uniqueness. Since we are talking about products made with advanced textile materials that we receive as donations from different suppliers, there will never be 2 products made with the same size that will ever be identical (it depends a lot on how the stitching falls on the material, on what size we have available, etc.). How to maintain Puzzletex products?

We recommend washing them in the washing machine at 30 degrees, without bleach. We say this because the cotton materials we receive are often colored cotton and we must be careful with such material, so as not to alter its color.
